metal is so expensive...
sinabear:
making a table in my metals class. wanted to do a bent tube steel frame/structure and realized one 10’ section of 3/4” costs about $65. and I needed 4 of those…
(sketch of the frame)
so changed some things around and now im gonna use 5/8” solid stock…12’ section for under $20. will be a similar effect but much heavier.
(test piece with the original material-two welded pieces)
